برنامج لتصميم الحالات المرضية | Dental Flash | Case Designing

Dental Flash is a free case Design program was developed as a visual aid for case planning attachment and implant restorations. Dental Flash allows you to select the position for existing teeth, crown abutments, roots or implants. Symbols for the restorative components are then added. Each Case design can be saved into and recalled from a folder on your computer. The saved case designed can also be sent online as an e-mail attachment to a colleague who also has the program installed





Starting a new case design

Simply fill in the case information including comments . A dialog box will then appear in which you can enter the dentist, laboratory and patient information. The dated created will automatically appear Fig.1 Click on "Go" button to begin design

Opening an existing case design

Under the "File" menu, click the "Open" button and browse to the folder containing the Dental Flash file Fig. 2. We recommend that you make a folder to contain the Dental Flash case designs. Fig. 3

Designing the Case

The State Menu is used to chart the patient's existing situation or proposed restored result. The State Menu has the symbols for natural teeth, implant, gold crown, gold pontic, porcelain crown, porcelain pontic, root, extraction or edentulous. Click on the symbol for the desired change and then click on the tooth site Fig. 5. An entire quadrant may also be changed by first clicking a state symbol and then clicking the quadrant name, upper right, lower left, etc. Fig.6.

Adding implant components or attachments

Once the tooth site has the desired state (crown, implant, root, etc) a restorative component such an abutment or attachment may be added. a. First select the state symbol for the site that you want to add a component. b. Now click the symbol for the component or attachment. c. Click on the desired site Fig.7-9. For extracoronal attachment click again to switch between mesial and distal placement

NOTE: The state symbol for the site must be selected before adding the desired component or attachment. The Attach Menu will change corresponding to the State selected
